Paul Schrimpf
The Off-White Collar Executive
As a child, Paul's take-your-son-to-work-day meant riding alongside his father in concrete trucks to pour concrete for newly constructed apartment buildings. It would have been labeled a classic blue-collar upbringing, except that his family owned both the concrete company and the apartment complex. Family dinners often involved reviewing homemade accounting ledgers -resembling school notebooks with hand-drawn columns down the middle- and were sometimes interrupted by calls from prospective renters seeking showings for the next day. Paul grew up with the "build, operate, grow" mentality as part of his core DNA
After obtaining undergraduate and graduate business degrees from Loyola Chicago and Southern Illinois, respectively, he spent over two decades working with some of the world's largest and fastest-growing companies. Working with over 100 companies, he has experience across almost every industry, with notable expertise in B2B Healthcare, B2C Healthcare, Manufacturing and Distribution, Construction and Property Management, Infrastructure, and B2B Tech
During those years, The Consulting Report recognized him as a Top 50 Consultant. He was an early hire to Accenture’s Business Analytics practice which generated over $100 million in its first year. He founded Prophet’s Healthcare Vertical, owning its P&L and growing it at a 10% CAGR over several years. His non-profit, The Water Trust which provides health and hygiene solutions to rural communities in Uganda, has tripled in size over the past decade since he joined the board, serving as its chair and working closely with its executive director who he recruited and mentors
Paul consistently brings an owner/operator mindset and specializes in all aspects of growth, spanning from growth strategy and product roadmaping, to sales and the necessary marketing that needs to integrate it all. He knows how to envision it, how to build it, how to scale it, how to run it, and most importantly, how to just get it done at every stage of a company's lifecycle.
